Dear Customer,
In accordance with recent port regulatory requirements, we would like to provide you with the following important reminders regarding cargo declaration:
Recent port inspections on import and export goods have been strictly enforced, with key focus areas including but not limited to the following:
Dual-Use Items Control:
If goods involving dual-use items (military and civilian) are detected, the cargo will be sent for inspection. Upon verification, relevant responsible parties will be subject to penalties and legal proceedings.
Wooden Packaging:
The use of solid wood packaging must be declared.
If IPPC markings are present but not declared, amendment procedures will be required.
If no IPPC markings are found, penalties and legal proceedings will be initiated.
Battery Products:
Over-standard batteries (including built-in batteries and pure batteries) will be subject to penalties and legal proceedings if the circumstances are serious.
Other all the goods of in the vehicle will be subject to cancellation and return.
Liquid and Powder Goods:
Please ensure to verify in advance whether the goods fall under the category of hazardous materials.
If they are hazardous materials, the corresponding Dangerous Goods Package Certificate must be provided, and dedicated vehicles must be arranged for transportation and customs declaration.
Non-hazardous goods can be arranged for consolidated shipment, but a formal Chinese MSDS and transportation identification report must be provided.
Accurate Declaration:
Declared cargo information (including product name, brand, model, quantity, etc.) must strictly match the actual goods.
In case of discrepancies, a statement report and complete price verification documents (including but not limited to VAT invoices, foreign exchange settlement slips, etc.) must be provided.
If valid price verification documents cannot be provided, cancellation or amendment of the declaration will not be possible, and this may affect the clearance of other normal goods in the same shipment.
Special Reminder: Please ensure to notify and guarantee that your clients fulfill their obligation of accurate declaration. Any acts of concealment, misrepresentation, or false declaration may not only hinder the smooth clearance of the involved goods but also impact other normal goods in the same batch. All resulting economic losses and reputational damages shall be borne by the responsible party.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
